Which Android Smartphones will get the Android L update first?

Google has announced Android L as the successor to android 4.4 KitKat. Well, the L here has no name as of now. Now that android L has been announced, most of you might be waiting to get your hands on it.
Google has recently released a developer preview of Android L to the public, however it was only limited to the Nexus 7 and Nexus 5. Within a few days, Custom ROM builds based on Android L started appearing for other android devices as well, but most of them were full of bugs and errors.
The waiting even gets impatient as Google has not specified an exact release date for Android L, however according to rumors we can expect Android L to be released by fall this year. While the release date for Android L is still unclear, certain Android smartphone manufacturers have already promised a prompt upgrade to Android L as soon it is released.
The following are some of the Android smartphones which are going to receive the Android L update first. As usual most of these smartphone are high end flagship smartphones of this year and its usual for them to get the Android L update first.

Nexus 5, Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (2012)

There’s no doubt that Google’s Nexus range of Smartphones and Tablets are going to be the first in the line to receive the Android L update. We already have a developer preview of Android L for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7, however the developer preview is nowhere near to the final built.

HTC One, HTC One M8 and HTC M7

HTC has confirmed that its M8 and M7 flagship smartphones will get the android L update within 90 days after the source code is released. Here’s what HTC has to say:

Moto X and Moto G

Motorola has always been the next one after Google to release quick updates for most of their Android phones and following this tradition Motorola is also going to provide the Android L update for most of its smartphones including the Moto X and Moto G.

Android One Smartphones

In the recent Google I/O conference, Google announced a new range of low cost android smartphones which are going to receive quick updates to all the latest android updates. While these smartphones are yet to be released, we are sure that the Android one range of low cost android smartphones will also be the first ones in the line to receive the Android L update.

One Plus One

OnePlus has already confirmed that their OnePlus One Android smartphone will get the Android L Update within three months of its release. here’s what a company representative had to say about the Android L update for OnePlus One.

Well, we’re keen to announce today that the OnePlus One will indeed be getting the L treatment. When, you ask? That depends on Google. We promise to have it done within three months of their releasing a final build.
