Hide Photos, Videos and Files on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 using Private Mode

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 is hands down the best android phablet you can buy right now. While there are many other contenders for the title of the best phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with its big screen, amazing hardware and the S pen feature straightforwardly blows away the competition.
Apart from the big screen and top end hardware, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has many other useful features up its sleeve and one of them is the new Private mode.
You might have photos and videos on our phone which you would not want other to see without your permission. So to help you out with hiding the contents of your note 4, Samsung has provided a built in file hiding feature in the Note 4 which is known as the Private Mode. The Private mode allows you to hide contents of the gallery, video, music, voice recorder, My files and S note apps on your Note 4. The private mode is turned off by default and enabling it for the first time will allow you to configure it.
The private mode can be turned off to hide all the selected photos and videos and turning it on will allow you to view the hidden files and photo on your phone. Regardless of the private mode being on or off, you can always select and hide photos using the private mode.
For those who would like to hide photos and videos from the gallery app on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, here’s how you can do so. To start with, you will need to set up the private mode.
Open the Notification panel and tap on Private mode and then setup a pattern or pin for accessing the private mode.

How to Hide Photos and Videos on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 using Private Mode

  • Step 1: Go to the gallery app on your Note 4 and select one or multiple images that you want to hide.

  • Step 2: Tap on the three dots to the top right of your phone and select Move to private.

  • Step 3: Enter the passcode or pattern for the private mode.

  • Step 4: Now Turn Off the private mode and all the selected photos and videos would be hidden.

You can Turn On the Private mode to hide all the selected files again. Similarly you can also use the private mode to hide the contents of the gallery, video, music, voice recorder, My files and S note apps on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
